Could someone identify which species is this fly? The pictures is taken 30th of October 2013 in Serbia.

As the stigma seems to be quite long I'd say this is Eristalis similis.

...or Eristalis pertinax, as we cannot see the front and mid tarsi colour (both species have a long pterostigma).
