Costa Rica, Dota (south of San José), 1'500 msm, 25.3.2013. ID? The long antennas are very strange.

The world catalogue (Evenhuis, 2006) quotes only Macrocera unica Fisher, 1939 for Costa Rica. According to the description (you can check @ online-keys.net) it's unlikely to be unica. Another genus that occurs in the Neotropics is Paramacrocera Tonnoir & Edwards, I couldn't find enough info quickly.

Rough or smooth, just as pleases me best.

Vockeroth's key to Central American Keroplatidae has no other genus of Macrocerinae than Macrocera.
