This fly was seen on 8 September outside Apeldoorn, province of Gelderland, the Netherlands. There are 4 Dutch species - aeneum, simillimum, elisae and geniculatum Is it possible to say which one this is? James jck attached the following image: ![]() [158.22Kb] |

It is aeneum or simillimum, which cannot be told from this image.
