hi flyforum, This fly is quite similar to a fly-specie I found before: http://www.waarneming.nl/foto_details.php?id=41025 I think Elachiptera sp. got a chance..? or am I wrong? place: Amsterdam forest date: 22-02-2007 size: ~5-6mm Robert Heemskerk attached the following image:  [64.42Kb] |

with toooooooooooooooooooo late, yes, it is Elachiptera sp. But for species needs more pics!
