M. longirostris or M. eximia Seguy. There is a problem of ID of species in the group longirostris-lelae-eximia-boghariensis, which show no good characters, especially external, but I cannot finish revision for almost 20 years because of lack of western Mediterranean reared material to see variability and host plants. The male wings have narrower dark bands, like in longirostris, and female looks more like eximia, but they are certainly belong to the same species. Edited by Nosferatumyia on 10-06-2012 17:08 Val |
