Ulidiidae: Euxesta sp. near pacifica Steyskal —a specimen is needed for ID. In any case, another adventive species in Palaearctic fauna!!!

Thank you Roger. I will add Ulidiidae which was also my first guess, but I found the flies together with Physiphora alceae which is the only Ulidiidae species mentioned in Fauna Europaea and in the LISTA DE ESPECIES SILVESTRES DE CANARIAS Hongos, plantas y animales terrestres 2009. Could it be a new species for Canary Islands? Marion |
