This looks a little like a previously uploaded fly that turned out to be Helina evecta/annosa, but a) it's not a perfect resemblance and b) my version of resemblance can be a little iffy. Is it another Helina? Or something else entirely? 14 March 2012, Bosham, west sussex, UK. Edited title from "Helina?
