Cant see any hypopleural bristles, but seems to have a strongly developed postscutellum ?

Is it Muscidae or Tachinidae ?

Yes,hypopleural bristels are present and strong.

Metallic Muscidae never have a angled curve in vein M.

Metallic Muscidae and Calliphoridae have the arista strongly plumose, whereas it is bare in metallic Tachinidae. And the bristles... of course....

The hypopleurals are easy to find because they are just in front of (anterior to) the hind thoracic spiracle Smile

I will try to fix the messages this month. We have to make some other configuration changes before software goes out of support at end of year.
