Muscidae or Tachinidae ? => Tachinidae: Gymnocheta viridis

Yes,hypopleural bristels are present and strong. Metallic Muscidae never have a angled curve in vein M. Metallic Muscidae and Calliphoridae have the arista strongly plumose, whereas it is bare in metallic Tachinidae. And the bristles... of course.... Theo |

The hypopleurals are easy to find because they are just in front of (anterior to) the hind thoracic spiracle
