Silly me, the filesize was too big. The picture should attach this time. This looks like Eristalinus sp., however unlike the other one I have collected this one does not have the eyes touching. Sexual dimorphism? |

This is the difference between sexes - eyes touching - male, and separated - female. It doesn't always work with syrphids though. Glad to see you're now collecting. London's Insects http://londoninve...hostia.com |
