Some unidentified Syrphidae from south Germany

Member Location: Posts: 182 Joined: 18.04.11	Hello all together, I don�t know if it is possible to identify the following fly�s - but I think I try it. Maybe here are some experts who know the species name. I hope, most of them belongs to the family of Syrphidae. I found them in South Germany, Baden-W�rttemberg, city of Waldshut, between Waldshut and Schmitzingen on Semi-arid grassland. 480 meters above the sea. Super Administrator Location: Reading, England Posts: 7706 Joined: 12.07.04	Nice photos but this really needs 1 fly per thread ... otherwise it gets difficult to understand which fly people are talking about Manager of the UK Species Inventory in the Angela Marmont Centre for UK Biodiversity at the Natural History Museum, London.
