Small, thick fly - Norway

Gedra It looks like a female Lonchaea sylvatica the only relatively common species of Lonchaea in the Palearctic to have all black tarsi and a dark squammal fringe. Top photo is excellent - do you mind if I use a copy on my Lonchaeidae web site?? ........ Iain Iain MacGowan |
