I am not quite sure its Thaumatomyia. The apical scutellar bristles appear a bit too separated than normally in Thaumatomyia, they should be very close together and crossing each other. I think it is an Chlorops species. Check here for an illustration of what it should look like in Thaumatomiya: http://www.diptera.info/forum/viewthread.php?forum_id=5&thread_id=1484 Oh, and T. notata is a very common species, but mostly in Autumn. And there are other Thaumatomyia species in Norway too. |
