Thanks! I thought it might be it, because it is the only species mentionned on Verbascum in a note on Belgian tephritid : www.fsagx.ac.be/zg/Publications/.../1601-1650/1604.pdf Not sure it's relevant, but there it is... Philippe A beautiful hypothesis can be slain by an ugly fact. |

It has nothing to do with Verbascum, the fly infests Leucanthemum (Asteraceae) flower heads. The host plant grows on meadows.
