Pietro, Nice documentation of your specimen. However I knew the species already from the first picture, which is not what we are used to when identifying Sarcophagidae. This is Senotainia tricuspis (Sarcophagidae, Miltogramminae). Unlike other Miltogramminae, this one is a endoparasite of honey bees, a disease called apimyiasis. Liekele |
