It's the first time I post in this forum, I hope I'm doing it well.
Please find below the 3 photos of this syrphid I took 9 days ago in Mérida, Yucatan, Mexico.

I already posted in the French forum insecte.org and one of the possible given name would be Palpada albifrons.
What do you think about this proposal?

And they are quite right, because this is indeed a male Palpada albifrons!
