Hi, Though I know that there is hardly a chance to ID Chironomids, I would like to post some pics nevertheless, because I met a nice collection in the last days. May be a genus name can be given to one or another. Here is the first one, a well-sized female (?). Somewhere I saw a rather similar fly labeled "Macropelopia"... I can´t see clearly, but seems Chironominae too (?) beatiful female ![]() |
