Hello fly people. Anyone got a description of the genus Sarcophaga? I'm collecting flesh flies from dead snails in ricelands..

If you prefer to identify Sarcophaga yourself, then you can check some literature at:

and select Flesh fly bibliography.

There are a few publications about Sarcophagidae from Philippines.

Otherwise you may send specimens for identification to Thomas Pape or to me.

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
