This tachinid was found in dunes in Viana do Castelo, Portugal (22/08/2009). Is it possible to point out a species?

In this part of the world this would be Dinera grisescens, but you might have plenty of similar species in Portugal. |

Thanks Jaakko! I think that there are only two more species known in Iberia Peninsula: D. ferina and D. carinifrons. Given these options is it possible to be sure it is D. grisescens? |

Now I see that D. grisescens is the only one of the three species to have the R5 closed. This must really be D. grisescens. |
