This fantastic bombyliid is an Aleucosia sp. according to the Jefferies.
Cor (who showed us recently amazing photos of flies from Turkey!) has also photographed one another Aleucosia - http://www.corzon...%20med.jpg though it is another different species.

Here the photos that Jean took on 27 September 2007 in Lupton Nature Reserve - Western Australia

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
