Does anybody know, whether Sciaridae (in particular Sciara species) are diurnal, nocturnal or crepuscular?

Hi Tina,

I'm no expert, but I see plenty of active sciarids during the day. No idea what they do at night though Wink.

Hi Tina
I have seen them flying around potted plants at Scatsta Airport at night while I'm at work. That is in a lit building though, couldn't say about ones out in the wild.
