This little (5-6mm) anthomyid was examining holes in a dead tree in full sun today. try Eustalomyia cf. hilaris (I have not solved a sinonym problem among them). Faune de France says the adult search at treeŽs trunks Crabronidae nests for their larvae (IŽll upload a pic and youŽll see your photos are good ![]() |
