Can anyone identify this large & impressive tachinid? Several at Cors Fochno (Borth Bog), Ceredigion, Wales. 7.9.09. Habitat is a large acid peat bog. Thanks. redadmiral attached the following image:  [28.83Kb] |

It's undoubtably an Exorista sp. and it looks to me like Exorista larvarum (orange scutellum, 4 post-sutural dcs & lots of dusting on the abdomindal tergites)  Though, as I said in my email, let's just wait for a double-check from a few others here
