Found this little one <3mm in the garden this morning. I have one species in my Checklist which is Bicellaria sulcata. Is it possible to tell from a photo if this is it ???

Regards Roger

It corresponds with that species, but there are others with which it could correspond as well. Female Bicellaria are tricky...

BTW: You have now been officially kicked out of the Wild Guesses Club but you have been graciously accepted in the Club of those showing signs that Diptera.info indeed rubs off on them.

Correction; I resigned before I got the chance to kick myself out, but it was close Grin.

The C.O.T.S.S.T.D.I.I.R.O.O.T. doesn't really trip off the tongue like The W.G.C. ( might even be a swearword in Dutch).

The new Waffling Garbage Club seems to have got off to a good start..

Bicellaria sp. it is. Frown.
