Is this Mintho rufiventris? Have I overlooked any other possibilities? I found this fly yesterday in De Bilt (the Netherlands).

And this one? Its body shape looks different (laterally compressed). You don't notice the red when you look from above.

haha, yes this one looks like Mintho The abdomen is much more laterally compressed and there are just 2 clear, wide vittae on the anterior part of the thorax
