Wow - looks very interesting. I can't place it from the photo but it must be fairly easy - small petiole, hairy r4+5, shiny-black colour & "scooped-out" face Grin

A dorsal would help.

Possibly Lydina aenea, maybe female Elocera delecta ?

I need to check some things, but for the moment I see no reason why it is not Lydina aenea. Very shiny black species with black parafrontalia, last feature less obvious here due to light ?

Lydina is mostly associated with forests, I don't know its hosts by heart, so I think this one is from the forest in the background.
By the way, rather common, at least in Central Europe, but not on flowers.

Hi,

Locally common in Finland. Late summer on warm, mixed forest edges, most often on Angelica or Pimpinella flowers.
