Hi,
These days I met two big flies, obviously of the same species, that I would classify as Tachinids, though Rhinophorids are in my mind as well. They had a subscutellum, small antennae, and a minute, if any, petiolus. I suppose ID will be a doddle for the experts. I'm very curious about it!
