Unknown fly: Melanogaster nuda (ID by Caliprobola)

Location: Valdelinares, Teruel, NE Spain. 1900 meters above sea.
Habitat: Very common in the flowers of Ranunculus sp. Not seen in other flowers. Marsh land.
Date: Yesterday.
Size: 5-6 mm.

Well, Melanogaster are not easy to tell from one another. One should see, amongst other features, details of the hairs on the thorax, the picture is a little to blury to see this. But it seems like there aren't realy clear hairs on the thorax so it could be a female Melanogaster nuda.

Thanks a lot Caliprobola, yes, I don't see any hair nor in the photos nor in the live specimens. I will put as M. nuda then. Many thanks!

Also the rather extended dark cloud in the wings suggest it is nuda Smile
