A Conopidae fly from France

Hello,

My first post on this forum !

I just tried to identify the fly below : using the online key of van Veen, I reach the species Physocephala vittata. It was caught in the southern Alps (details below).

As this is my first try with Conopid flies, could someone confirm this identification ?

Well, it looks good for Physocephala. Hopefully an expert can comment on the actual species.
