Ok Theo, here You have an opposite for that large Tabanidae. This is very small species. June 1.2009 Loviisa, Finland.

Sorry, but doesn't look like a Tachinidae.
What's more, the arista is longly plumose

So my bets are on Sarcophagidae.

IF you can provide a dorsal, we can be more sure

Did you really check ?
It was just a suggestion from my part, I really cannot be sure from this one pic.

Bare hindcoxa should be a real important clue (filters out all Sarcophagini)

I have the fly still under my microscope and Pape in left hand. Everything written in that book goes ok. Yes, hind coxa is bare.
