Asilid ID seems to be always impossible... my threads often continue unresolved along the times... but I can't resist to photograph at least the most spectacular ones...

Today. Peņaflor, Zaragoza, NE Spain, 300 meters, in gypsiferous steppe, very warm day. About 15-20 mm. This one was with open wings in the second after landing, but after it always close wings. A pity, because the abdomen colour and pattern is very nice.

It could be identified?
Thanks
Isidro

I will try to fix the messages this month. We have to make some other configuration changes before software goes out of support at end of year.
