On May 12th I found quite a few of these flies around Vaals, Netherlands. They were appr. 7 mm long. I think they might be of the genus Metopia (Sarcophagidae). Is that correct and is it possible to put a species name to it? Thanks in advance! Metopia is correct, several very similar species. If you didn't collect any, we can't give you a name. Theo |
