The Netherlands, De Wieden. 8 may 2009. Male Dolichopus i think. 5,5 mm long. This species has a conspicuous basel tars element in mid leg. Perhaps this leads to an id.? Klaas Klaas attached the following image: [125.53Kb] |

Hi Klaas I had one with the same tarsi on 22/04/09..turned out to be D plumipes. Not sure if this is the same as that one looked very metallic...but that might have been my pop-up flash on the camera. Regards Roger Edited by Roger Thomason on 08-05-2009 22:38 |
