Tachinidae: Ernestia puparum (ID: Zeegers)

This fly was yesterday in La Peņa, Huesca, NE Spain. Pre-pyrenees, 500 meters, mediterranean-alpine transition. Small for a Tachina, same size than Tachina ursina, maybe 6-7 mm. long. Thanks! The shame is that both species are cited from Spain (E. argentifrons appears as E. argentifera). How can be distinguished both? |

The vertex is much too narrow for argentifera, so it must be puparum Theo |
