Very broad parafacial area!

It's an Antho, a nice male Leucophora, in personnata group (probably L. unistrita but need Michael knowledge).

I changed the title.

Based on your idea i looked further,
and perhaps Leucophora obtusa is also a candidate ?
That species has in males a longspined abdomen and has 'several rows of upwardly directed setae at lower margin of gena'.

But i don't find that species in the checklist for the Netherlands!

If Michael still comes across your male, it would be nice to hear also his opinion about my female (http://www.dipter...post_92670)! It might be another species, though.
