It's a tachinid from the upright hairs on the abdomen, I'll re-post later if I can get it further Smile

Pity the head it out of focus.
Indeed, a Tachinid, with the eyes nearly touching. Very unusual in Tachinidae. To name 2 genera with this feature: Macquartia and Dinera. It somehow looks more like Dinera.... Though I don't understand the species.
