Don't think it is Platypezidae. Reminds me of some Drosophilidae, but I cannot see any orbital setae.

Seems to have the same bodyshape/stance of an Agromyzidae I photographed in summer, with abdomen tucked under. The wings/veins aren't far off either.

I can't shake the feeling that I've seen this species before. It also reminds me of some species of Drosophilidae (Steganinae?).

I think we have had this or a very similar fly earlier in the forum. From the side the distinct white lines on the thorax make the recognition easier.

I was thinking along the lines of Phortica, but there may be Oriental taxa that are quite different from ours.
