Hi, is it possible that this could be Argyra magnicornis ? I believe setimana should have longer arista and silvery white pollination on mesonotum and abdomen. The hairs underside of mid femur should be longer too. July 13. 2007 Helsinki, Finland. Jari JariF attached the following image: ![]() [76.16Kb] Edited by JariF on 13-11-2008 10:32 |

If the scutellum is hairy, and mesonotum without hairs in addition to setae, then magnicornis would be better. 8. Mesonotum and abdomen without silvery white pollination; antennal stylus shorter than antennomeres combined; frons greyish-white; face white; 6.0- 7.0.................magnicornis (Zetterstedt) – Mesonotum and abdomen metallic green, densely silvery white pollinose; antennal stylus longer than antennomeres combined; frons and face silverywhite; femora mostly yellow; 6.0-7.0.................................... setimana Loew Igor Grichanov |
