Hello, I found this one on a mushroom in a forest near Hamburg, Germany. I think it the family is Mycetophilidae, i have seen it serveral times befor on mushrooms (Piptoporus). Cecidomyiidae has many, many species... over 6000 if I recall well. It is among one of the hardest families to ID. Curiously, it is more easy to recognize the galls they form. ![]() |
