The Mediterranean species of Chrysotoxum are badly in need of revision. So any ID beyond "Chrysotoxum sp." would be in high risk of being erroneous. Cheers, Dieter |

The name you would get using published keys very probably is wrong. I have an idea what it COULD be but won't tell it  because I think a wrong name is worse than no name. But "Chrysotoxum sp." is 100% correct. It would be wise to accept this.Cheers, Dieter |
