Chloropidae, Oscinellinae, Cadrema Walker, 1859, female. Note the very long black spur at the ventral end of the hind tibia. In the Oriental Region 23 valid spp. and one synonym, worldwide 47 spp. and 2 synonyms: https://sdei.senckenberg.de/tschirnhaus-chloropidae/ An Oriental key in English was published by Nartshuk 2002 in Entomological Review 82(3): 276-293. The silvery shining face in this species may play a role during mating display in sun spots in a shady vegetation. Flies are extremely quick and difficult to catch. They are attracted by electrolyte-rich substrates like dead fish, sweat on leather or hand-touched yellow-green bananas (pers. observation of M.v.T.).

Article must be ordered via or from a local university library or entomological institute as the journal is not available online. Also the Russian authors themselves mostly do not possess a PDF as the original article was published in Russian language. This is the original title of the English verson: A Revision of the Genus Cadre [sic!, correct: Cadrema] Walker (Diptera, Chloropidae) from Indian Ocean Islands. I shall try the key if it lets identify the species. Result: Identification runs to couplet 10 [pallida] and is not possible without male. I somehow completely missed the genus mention of Cadrema in your first post. Appreciate the English reference, I seem to be unable to find further reference for this article indeed. Interestingly I did find a (older) key: Study on the Genus Cadrema (Diptera, Chloropidae) of Japan and Taiwan (1989) I could find a link here: https://dl.ndl.go...653783/1/1 The spur on the hind tibia seems to be shorter than the metatarsus here:  With the striped patterns (not orbicular), could it be C. minor? A bit difficult when the patterns can have a lot of variation. The new species of Cadrema (Anadrema) thailandica also does not seem top match this species with the mainly yellow abdomen.
