Hi,

this individual was caught in May in Austria close to Vienna.
Is it possible to identify the species?

As a rule, it's difficult to identify mosquitoes that are preserved in alcohol - the patterns and colours used to distinguish the species are difficult to interpret. Having said that, this specimen looks like Anopheles plumbeus to me, but I cannot be certain from these photos.
