I suspect that there is something in your camera settings which is causing far too much red saturation and giving a false image. I hope you don't mind but I have downloaded your photo and toned down the red in Photoshop - is this not what your fly looked like?

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
