Hi All

I found these two doing what flies do in a dark mixed woodland in Pembrokeshire, Wales.

Could somone try and ID them for me?

Many Thanks, Gareth

Thanks for your help Tony.

Is there any chance of getting it down to a species? I have searched through nbnatlas.org
and can't seem to narrow it down.

Yours, Gareth

I don't feel able to take it further on the basis of these photos. It's not one of the species with distinctive tarsal modification, and the characters that can be used to identify the remainder are not clear in the photos.
