 Small, strange and beautiful fly from Bukidnon, Mindanao, Philippines, May 11.
It would be nice to get an ID. Hopefully someone can help. Tephritidae?

 I think Platystomatidae, but I do not recognize the genus.

 Thank you. I searched for Platystomatidae in South-east Asia and found the genus Poecilotraphera. Only four species are listed and Poecilotraphera taeniata seem to be a possible candidate.

 The genus was revised by Steyskal (1965) but the illustrations did not scan well. https://www.biodi...part/64052

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
