Ovovivipary is a phenomenon where eggs not only develop in the female body, but also hatch there, and that the larvae are 'born' only when the conditions are favourable.
I have just received the very sad news that Peter Chandler has died after a fall at home yesterday. I have no other details at the moment. We shall miss him terribly.
