Well, I was fed up with it and moved it back to the old server (!) as it seemed to be behaving better during the last two weeks.

Actually, it is already with a new host. At present the site is just slow but does not have lost pages and time outs anymore (just a few exceptions). Still, I cannot say I am too happy about the speed
