P. minutus confirmed?     PS: It would be interesting to read Grootaert's original description of P. australominutus  Grootaert, P. 1989 - Description of a new Platypalpus species, closely allied to P. minutus Meigen from Europe. - Bulletin et annales de la Soc. royale belge d'entomologie, 125: 5 pp., 10 figs.
