This hoverfly is probably of the genus Anasimyia, but can anybody say what species (male?) it is? Perhaps A. interpuncta?
Information about the sighting: 21 May 2020, southern part of Hamburg, Germany, in the Heuckenlock Nature Reserve, directly located on the river Elbe with a moist forest area.
Thanks for any help!
Best regards, Volker

It is either interpuncta or lunulata (not lineata which has a lot of yellow on the lover hind femur).

I will try to fix the messages this month. We have to make some other configuration changes before software goes out of support at end of year.
