Photos 11 Jul 2017, Badem, RLP, Germany. Fly or flies are on plum leaf that probably has aphid dew on it. Second photo (fly) seems to have mites.

With the straight face and the katepisternum only dusted in upper posterior corner: Saltella nigripes Robineau-Desvoidy, 1830.
A very nice find!

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
