Hello,

I photographed this fly in Bazzano (AQ), Italy, on November 27th 2020. I think it is an Opomyza, but is it possible to identify the species from these photos?

Thank you in advance,
Emanuele

Some flies preserved in ethanol and then pinned often get the eyes sunken, how can this be avoided? Best answer: I usually keep alcohol-collected material in alcohol

Yes, dipterologists from far abroad, please buy your copy at veldshop. Stamps will be expensive, but he, the book is unreasonably cheap Smile
